Our cat is enjoying the wedding presents we're getting. Well, she's enjoying removing the styrofoam popcorns.  One piece at a time.  They're now floating around the house, like tiny tumbelweeds.

Not really.  It's actually the Chuppah that we'll be married under.  But whatever.  It's all love baby!

Before you say anything, YES... we know it's not a "Square".  It's kind of trapazoid-like, it's true. But, if you follow the blog, you'll know that Rachel just sewed the Chuppah cover and it is 60" x 80".

The original map I sent Will.  As you can see, it's a trapezoid.  That's because the Chuppah cover measures 60" by 80".  But the trees we're using are 120" apart.  Nature, why won't you work with us?

Eventually, it will all come together.  Thanks to the help of Will...

Chuppah ... in progress

Rachel just sent me this photo of the Chuppah cover she's sewing.  This is a work in progress.

Each stripe was donated from a loved one.  They either took the fabric from home, or picked it up for us.  The "donors" are:

In Blue:
Carol & Will (My parents)
Will & Andrew (my brothers)
Julie (my sister)
Jason Vivona (good friend)
and Mageina Tovah

In White:
Rita Coupel (Rachel's grandmother)
Sandra & Clyde (Rachel's parents)
Pennie Wixom (Her eldest sister)
Heather Wixom (Her older sister)
Leah Star (Her good friend)
Yeahyeahyeah...she told me to elope. But did I listen to her? Nope. "Oh mom, you are being silly because I am not going to sweat my wedding." Two years later I cannot believe I only have like 50 days to go! I am almost there, but people keep holding me up.

I am currently building the cover for the huppah and trying to start on my veil....it would be helpful if my dress designer would give me the material I need for that.

I FINALLY found some shoes for my dress...yipeeee! I think we are doing all right as far as the planning goes, but who knows until the day. Kris....this had better last because I am NOT doing this again so you better love me forever buddy!! :)

Kris is back from his bachelor party. Last night he was calling out Coop's name....should I be worried;) Kris said he had a blast and I have his boys to thank for that.....Good job guys! I can't wait for mine.....mwahhahahahaha

We are now less than TWO MONTHS from our wedding date.  Which means, we're less than ONE MONTH from losing our room blocks at our hotels in Louisville.

For those of you whom haven't booked a room yet, please make sure you jump on it as soon as possible!

If you need suggestions on people you can share rooms with or carpool with to cut costs, please email me and I'll put people in touch with each other.

Here are the two hotels we have blocks in.  We recommend staying in Louisville on Saturday night.  Rachel and I will be heading out to 4th Street Live (a collection of bars) to party after the wedding, and everyone is welcome to join us.  The Galt House is downtown and is walking distance to this collection of bars.

Not that I'm jealous... but Rachel has had TWO bridal showers thus far.  One in New Orleans, organized by her sister Heather, and one here in LA.  Oh, and she still has a Bachelorette party to go.

My Bachelor party is in Vegas tho.  SO.  Can't complain.

Anywho.  Click on the above link to see some of the photos from the two parties, courtesy of Flickr.
